Our Mission
One Child at a Time
Kiwanis Club of Farmington-Victor at a Glance
A Bit of Background
Kids need Kiwanis. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The focus of Kiwanis is on improving the lives of children in our Farmington and Victor communities. An hour of your time can create a lifetime of opportunities for a child in our community. Each year, our club has returned nearly $100,000 to the community under our community service programs and projects. Some of the recipients included The Victor-Farmington Food Cupboard, Serenity House, the Victor-Farmington Library, Golisano Children’s Hospital, The Spot Canandaigua, Ontario County Shop with a Cop, Victor Robotics, Victor Band Boosters, The South Farmington Cemetery Association, AMVETS and Blue Star Mothers. Our club also provides several scholarships awarded to graduating seniors from Victor High School. For several years, the Farmington-Victor Kiwanis Club has sponsored the largest Key Club in New York State geared toward high school students, and a Builders Club for junior high students at Victor Central School. These clubs provide their members with opportunities to develop leadership and organizational skills while teaching the value of volunteering.
Membership in Kiwanis is open to men and women who desire personal involvement in improving the quality of life in our community. Please join us for a complimentary breakfast. Our meetings are held every Friday morning from 7-8 AM at the brand new Microtel by Wyndham located off of Route 332 in Farmington. A member of the membership committee will contact you personally to extend an invitation to join us for a meeting, meet our members and answer any questions that you might have about the club and its programs. The Farmington-Victor Kiwanis Club continues to improve its programs and projects that address the needs of the residents of Farmington and Victor. The club has provided over 30 years of service to the community. New members bring fresh ideas and help us to develop new projects and/or programs!

Making A Difference
Giving Back
One Step at a Time
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to do all that we can to give back to those in need in the Farmington, Victor and greater Ontario County communities. All funds raised by our club's foundation are reinvested directly back into the community. We partner with numerous organizations in our community to ensure donated funds help children and their families. Organizations we support include the Victor/Farmington Food Cupboard, Budding Readers, The Spot, Victor Dollars for Scholars, Cobblestone Arts Center, Victor Robotics, Victor Band Boosters , Youth Chorus of the Finger Lakes, and Relay For Life. We also use funds raised to put on a number of important events throughout the year, including our Spirit of Giving Dinner, our Senior Citizens Corned Beef Dinner, our Bike Rodeo, our Children's Christmas Party and many more!
Feeding the Hungry
Helping The Community
At Kiwanis Club of Farmington-Victor, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing hunger in our communities. In partnership with the Victor-Farmington Food Cupboard, we assist with the summer meal packing program each year, where club members put together nutritious and delicious food packages for community members in need to pick up for their families. Additionally, we work with the Food Cupboard during the holidays with their annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Basket Packing events, allowing families to have enough food over the holidays.
Serving as Stewards of Our Community
Reinforcing our Commitment
We not only love to help others but we also love to make our communities great places to live. We undertake numerous projects to help keep our community clean and to help our partner organizations take care of their properties, so that they can focus on helping their target population. We work each year with Serenity House on their spring and fall clean up days, allowing them to focus their time, efforts and funding on providing end of life care and comfort to families in our area. We also assist the Town of Farmington and the Farmington Chamber of Commerce with planting, weeding and general periodic upkeep at the Farmington Gateway Park on the corner of NYS 332 and NYS 96.
