2019 Spirit of Giving Dinner

Join the Kiwanis Club of Farmington Victor for the 14th Annual Spirit of Giving Dinner!  The event begins with a cash bar at 6pm to be followed by dinner at 7pm.  Our dinner will feature Lorene Benson from Cobblestone Arts Center as our guest speaker.

The purpose of this dinner is to recognize an individual’s most important asset, which is their time. We will be presenting The Citizen of the Year Awards for the Town of Victor and the Town of Farmington for individuals from our communities who have given significant amounts of time over many years to help children. We will also be presenting four Helping Hands Awards.

 Nominees inspire the practice of the Golden Rule by Example and have demonstrated a contribution of significant importance in the community of Farmington or Victor as a volunteer that is sustained throughout the year or over the years. We also recognize Helping Hands Award Winners who demonstrate these characteristics for a single, outstanding event or activity. Lastly, our outreach donations are given to organizations doing amazing work to help children in need in the community and who have come to speak at our club meetings during the year about their great work, as voted on by the membership of the Farmington-Victor Kiwanis Club.

We can't begin to express the extent of our appreciation to each of these individuals and organizations for their selfless dedication to improving the lives of children in need here in our communities, though we will attempt to try at our Spirit of Giving Dinner. This year our High School Key Club and Aktion Club officers will be in attendance to share their outreach accomplishments over this past year. They have 300 students who participate in various outreach activities.
